Role Assignment

This energetic leader is rounding out a team; everyone must work together and each play their chosen part.

He apparently thinks you’re a fish, or you’re named after a fish. It’s hard to tell when people try to fit a complete sentence in such a small space.

I just had to laugh at this one, more then wince. He sounds like a little kid on Christmas, opening the highly-popular LEGO Stripper Set.

    Oh goddess, what a brat.

What’s a striper?  Someone who puts stripes on things?

  • Anonymous

I’ve actually been working as a Striper for the past 13 years and I can assure you that, yes, we stripe things.  I’ve striped some things in my 13 years that would blow your hair back, believe me!  Anyway, if anyone is curious about Striping AMA.

Do you have to go to school for striping or is it something that a body could just pick up and stripe things in their spare time?

  • Megan!

A striper? Like a candy striper? An awesome person that volunteers at a hospital in the 1950′s?

  • WhyleKat

I’m guessing he meant “Striper” as in the Navy slang word for higher ranking officers (stripes on the uniform).  What else could he possibly be talking about?  He’s probably just some low ranking private who’s looking for someone to look up to and take orders from.

    did I win??

  • WhyleKat

They actually still call them that now! I worked at a hospital for 6 years, it was only when referring to the voulenteers that were 15-17 years old.  The elderly voulenteers had a different name and wore green scrubs instead of red/white stripes.

For some reason this made me think of military chevron rankings. ^_^

  • replaycache

    Maybe he meant sniper ?

Hey, at least I have a job! In this economy…sheesh!

Yeah, “Striper” is short for Striped Bass.  they are fun to fish for and catch.  Maybe this guy just woke out of a drug induced haze and thought he saw a talking fish in his monitor or something.  I mean, that WOULD explain it.  I wonder if he has had other similar episodes.  Like, maybe he woke up (lying passed out in a  gutter after an all night drunk) and was face up on the street and saw something moving in the tree branches above him and said “You are Squirrel!!”.  Anybody else have other possible reasons this guy might be stating the obvious, or maybe just describing his own hallucinations?  Feed him enough drugs, he might be good at a party (tied up so he couldn’t hurt anyone, of course)

     I like squirrels! XD

Dammit, I wanted to be a polka dotter!

[My] Reply: Whoa! Must know what [a] striper is really well to be able to determine that from a game experience! Good! I’ve got a question then… see, I drive a Jeep. I love my Jeep, I’ve named it Ironshard and a friend even applied for the vanity plate for me. So, it’s a rather popular beast within my circle of kinship. But, I just feel empty without it having stripes. See, my question is, I like to drive without the doors and hood, and I was wondering what would be the best way to go about giving it stripes. Seeing as you’re apparently knowledgeable of the striper profession, I thought maybe you could help with my (though obscure) problem. I don’t really know if I should put it under and around the door frame, or if I should have it break at the door frame and continue after. Maybe I should keep the doors off, but put the roof back on and then have the stripe go onto the plastic matte and possibly cover my make-shift windows of see-through plastic. I DO NOT KNOW AND I NEED YOUR HELP!

Would’ve been my response… and that was fun.

May the Nine Divines take you and keep you! ^_^

Thats pretty great! Most of my messages also tend to carry on until the character limit is reached. Iz why I keep a keyboard attached to one of the usb ports!
And btw, I would have the stripes be broken up at the doorless frames and then continue on the sides. ^_^
