PSN’s Finest

This submitter hasn’t had as much luck on PSN as others have with avoiding weirdos and jerks. Here’s a short collection she sent in featuring players carlitos17900, xX_KrazyElmo_Xx, and EL_CH1NGON88.

“Never said a single word to this guy.”

It’s not even creative.  But, I just followed the link off of N4G and thought I would post my thoughts from there:

The thing is (and I will get plenty of disagrees for this), I actually
find women who are into geek culture or are geeks themselves sexy.

They tend to be the ones, if they are gaming, that I want to spend time
with. They will watch the same movies as I do, play the same games,
and watch the same shows. Even read the same types of books. I don’t
know what the problem is with the homos that hate them so much.

Sorry to offend any actual homosexuals here by comparing you to them.
Actual homosexuals would probably be much better at the game.

Well, if you know it’s offensive, why did you say that anyway?

Generally, there are two camps of gamers who are involved in this nonsense. There are the trolls, who are just trying to offend everyone (and find entertainment in lessening others) and there are the awkward nerds who don’t understand that women are people too, and can’t relate to them beyond their desire for sexual encounters.

In regards to your “Homo” comment; don’t be stupid. If it’s going to offend anyone other than your mark, why say it?

I don’t know what about the first part of your post should get a lot of disagreements. Geeky girls are often smart, they have quirky interests, and they’ve often made some kind of peace with the expectation to behave how people expect them to, and parted with it. A woman who doesn’t try as hard to fit within such a narrow definition and who is smart is attractive. The issue, I think is with people who can’t find those women attractive and still relate to them in a constructive way or take no for an answer.

As for the second part of your post: yes, it offends people when you use the word “homo” to mean “stupid person I dislike”. Besides the obvious (turning someone’s orientation into a pejorative term) it’s offensive when someone misuses a term in an idiotic way.

If you wouldn’t like people using a term that referred to you to mean “stupid” or “reject”, then don’t use a term that applies to someone else that way; it’s stupid. (see how I used the right word there?)

It’s not even creative.  But, I just followed the link off of my Facebook and thought I would post my thoughts from there:

The thing is (and I will get plenty of people agreeing to this), I actually find men who are actually confident enough in their masculinity/sexuality to not feel the need to bash people who don’t fit their tiny little views, sexy.

They tend to be the ones, if they are gaming, that I want to spend time with.  They watch the same movies as I do, play the games, and watch the same shows.  Even read the same types of books.  I don’t know what the problem is with the bigots that hate them so much.

(Not)Sorry to offend any actual bigots here by comparing you to them. Actual bigots are probably just as skilled as anyone else, they just have issues with accepting different people

(Sorry, was bored sitting in a hospital, so I re-wrote his offensive post into something a little more constructive… and because it gave me the giggles)

I really think it’s great that EL_CH1NGON88 left the body empty.  But if there had to be something written, I vote for, “…just throwin’ that out there.”

I love the people who think being able to quick scope actually means something. Especially when 90% cant shoot worth a dam in the first place.

What I don’t understand is that why don’t we get them more often? Not saying I want them here but FUoS has quite the fan base and has been on many other sites.

+1 internets for you. Love it.
