Sorry, GIGATONE, user jBot did the joke way better several months ago.

(long post today, just a reminder to read from bottom to top)

I don’t know whether to feel joy that pay equity issues have entered the public consciousness enough that gynophobes can quote statistics in the course of their insane hostile ranting, or horror that people who have even a marginal grasp on feminist issues can actually bring themselves to actively oppress someone they believe is a woman.

What the hell is wrong with people?! Can’t we be civilized toward each other? Just because you never have to face this person in real life doesn’t mean you can treat them poorly. I swear, it’s people like this that will be the downfall of civilization as we know it. >.<

I really need to see the other half of these conversations. I’m sure most (read 99.5%) of these “gentlemen” are verbally abusing people without provocation but there seems to be a conversation here and it’s minutely unfair to be bashing someone having seen only one side of it.

That said, do you ever actually taste the end of the Grav Hammer? I thought it was a force punch kind of thing?

You know, I will never get the people who expect women to sit there and take the abuse and not try and verbally defend themselves. As if it is a only soemthing that can be done by males to be able to say anything in defense of yourself back to someone who is verbally abusing you for no reason other than you exist and they have encountered you.

So women must sit there, take abuse and horrible comments said to them when they are trying to enjoy gaming like everyone else who games?

Somehow that idea seems as sexist or wrong as a lot of the commetns made to women that end up on this site.

Not saying I disagree with either of you fully but honestly I would find it beneficial to how I comment on this site if I had the full conversation. Blur out the “victim’s” Gamertag/handle if you so please. Doesn’t take away from it. I can say that I agree with both of you somewhat though. Not trying to start a war here…. *hides*

I fully agree. Blur out the name of the woman recieving the abuse and have her side shown as well.

Still I really cannot totally fault someone for saying things back on occasion since it doesn’t really pay to be anyone’s rug to walk on. Allowing yourself to be a victim over and over because it is expected for a woman to just grow a thicker skin about things said to her that are horribly disgusting and uncalled for is silly and unrealistic.

I love reading these posts. All these throwbacks with bad grammar remind me of a horny dog trying to hump someone’s leg; ineffective, yet they seem to think it’s so awesome.

Yeah, I really want to know what she said in this one.  I imagine they had a good escalating back-and-forth.

I am just amazed at the bipolar thinking going on in these messages. “Oh, you seem like you’re cool for a woman. Not that I’m gay. Suck my cock!”… I also hope this kid/guy works at Burger King… forever.

Ok,I must’ve sent the image in wrong, his first comment to me was “Now Suck My Cock” I told him to suck mine, then if you read up from there you will see his responses properly, after the 87cents thing I told him…”Well how does it feel to only be making 13 cents” and that was the last thing I sent him…he just proceeded to message me. However when he called me a whore, I told him, well If I was a whore I would definitely be making more than 87 cents, and that his insults were not consistent.
